Information only

The content on Car Oil Specs is for general information. We take specs from manufacturer sources and check them carefully, but we cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current or correct for your specific vehicle, engine or market. Always confirm the oil type and capacity in your own owner’s manual, on the oil filler cap or with your dealer before servicing your vehicle.

Check the dipstick

Listed capacities are refill amounts with a filter change. The actual amount can vary slightly. Add oil gradually and check the level on the dipstick (or the electronic oil level display) before and after running the engine. Overfilling or underfilling can damage the engine.

Safety

Hot engine oil and exhaust parts can cause burns. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack; use rated jack stands or ramps on level ground. Dispose of used oil and filters at a recycling center. If you are not comfortable doing the work yourself, have it done by a qualified technician.
